Committees

Constitution Committee

This body comprises all surviving ex-Presidents and ex-Vice-Presidents, chaired by the senior of the former, and functions to:

1. Develop and revise By-Laws governing the conduct of the Society's business
2. Advise on the need for and form of changes to the Constitution
3. Adjudicate on challenges to the Constitution and complaints concerning the conduct of any member or Officer of the Society as well as recommending the action to be taken, if any.
   

The members of this committee currently are: Donald W. Moss (Chair), Francesco Salvatore, Morton K. Schwartz, David M. Goldberg, Lauro Galzigna.

Nominating Committee

This body shall comprise the Constitution Committee together with the reigning President and Vice-President. The Chair will be selected by the President but may not be the Chair of the Constitution Committee. It will assume the responsibility of proposing candidates for all vacancies to be filled by election not later than 1st August of the year prior to election.

Meetings Committee

Dr. Eleftherios P. Diamandis is the current Chair of this committee, with a mandate to develop a long-term strategy in the planning of future ISE meetings. Membership will comprise up to six (6) other members who do not sit on the Board, and normally no more than one committee member may be a citizen of the same country. Non-voting Corresponding Members from countries not represented will be invited to provide input and will be so named.
